Well here were are in the middle of March, baby belly is in full effect and when you ask her to Parker will show you where her baby brother is and even give him a kiss. Parker's vocabulary makes Nick and I laugh every day, when she sees M&Ms she says no mos, and I asked Nick why do you think she says that. His response was great, he said that when she points to them at my parents house my Mom is always saying no more, no more and there you have it M&MS are no mos. HaHa!!! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our newest family member Wyatt Russell, who has a tentative eta of four weeks. Other than that just another day in the Mayes Experience.

So here we are at the end of Aug and the summer has been great. Parkers first birthday was so much fun, first we spent the evening with the family and some friends at concerts in the park where Parker had her first taste of birthday cake. Then a few days later we had a pool party at the Holdsworth house where Parker and her friends spent the day splashing in the pool and wrapped the day up with a home made fish cake that turned her face all purple! Since then we have been busy trying to stay pool side and stay cool with friends. We have been waiting for our friends Cody and LaLa to become new parents, baby Easton was born Aug 26th. But before he arrived we had a little surprise of our own to share, Parker is going to be a BIG sister. I went to the OB today and the newest baby Mayes should arrive the first or second week of April. Congratulations Parker!!

Ok so here is a stretch, our last post was just after valentines day and now we are weeks away from Parker's first birthday. The last few months have taken us from watching Parker shimmy across the floor to running after her to keep her out of the kitchen. Family and friends can not believe how smart and social Parker has become, she has so many friends and everyone wants a piece of her. We spent Memorial weekend at the river and Parker took the sun like a champ but like her mother she was not a fan of the cold water. She had a great time playing with Lucy and trying to get in and out the her new chair. Parker and I have been going to swim lessons once a week for a while now and are starting to think about planning a pool party.
